1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of mockers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord, and on his law he meditates day and night.
3 He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season, and whose leaf does not wither; and whatever he does prospers.
4 Not so the wicked! They are like chaff that the wind blows away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the assembly of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous, but the way of the wicked will perish.
1 Why do the nations rage, and the peoples plot in vain?
2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the Lord and against his Anointed, saying,
3 “Let us break their bonds and cast away their cords from us.”
4 He who sits in heaven laughs; the Lord scoffs at them.
5 Then he will rebuke them in his anger and terrify them in his wrath, saying,
6 “As for me, I have set my King on Zion, my holy hill.”
7 I will proclaim the decree: The Lord has said to me, “You are my Son; today I have begotten you.
8 Ask of me, and I will make the nations your heritage, and the ends of the earth your possession.
9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.”
10 Now therefore, O kings, be wise; be warned, O rulers of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
12 Honor the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish in the way, for his wrath is quickly kindled. Blessed are all who take refuge in him.

1 O Lord, how many are my foes! Many are rising against me.
2 Many are saying of me, “God will not save him.” Selah
3 But you, O Lord, are a shield around me, my glory, the lifter of my head.
4 I cried aloud to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Selah
5 I lay down and slept; I awoke again, for the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people who have set themselves against me all around.
7 Arise, O Lord! Save me, O my God! For you have struck all my enemies on the cheek; you have broken the teeth of the wicked.
8 Salvation belongs to the Lord; your blessing be on your people. Selah

1 Answer me when I call, O God of my righteousness. When I was in distress, you enlarged me; have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2 O sons of men, how long will you turn my glory into shame? How long will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah
3 Know therefore that the Lord has set apart the godly for himself; the Lord will hear when I call to him.
4 Tremble, and do not sin; meditate in your heart on your bed, and be still. Selah
5 Offer sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the Lord.
6 Many are saying, “Who will show us any good?” Lift up the light of your countenance upon us, O Lord.
7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than they had when their grain and new wine abounded.
8 In peace I will both lie down and sleep, for you alone, O Lord, make me dwell in safety.

1 Hear my words, O Lord; consider my groaning.
2 Give ear to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to you I pray.
3 In the morning, O Lord, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly.
4 For you are not a God who delights in wickedness; evil may not dwell with you.
5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight; you hate all workers of iniquity.
6 You destroy those who speak lies; the Lord abhors the bloodthirsty and deceitful.
7 But I, by the abundance of your mercy, will enter your house; in reverence I will worship toward your holy temple.
8 Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies; make your way straight before me.
9 For there is no sincerity in their mouths; their inward parts are full of wickedness. Their throats are open graves; with their tongues they flatter.
10 Punish them, O God; Let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out because of their many transgressions, for they have rebelled against you.
11 But let all who take refuge in you rejoice; let them ever sing for joy, because you protect them; let those who love your name exult in you.
12 For you, O Lord, will bless the righteous; you will surround them with your favor as with a shield.

1 O Lord, do not rebuke me in your anger, nor discipline me in your wrath.
2 Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am weak; heal me, O Lord, for my bones are in agony.
3 My soul is in deep anguish; how long, O Lord?
4 Turn, O Lord, and deliver me; save me for your unfailing love.
5 For in death there is no remembrance of you; in Sheol, who will praise you?
6 I am worn out from groaning; all night long I flood my bed with weeping; I drench my couch with my tears.
7 My eyes are worn out from grief; they grow dim because of all my foes.
8 Away from me, all you evildoers, for the Lord has heard my weeping.
9 The Lord has heard my plea; the Lord accepts my prayer.
10 All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly dismayed; They will turn around and be suddenly shamed.

1 O Lord my God, in you I have put my trust; save me from all my pursuers and deliver me,
2 lest they tear my soul like a lion, and destroy me with no one to deliver me.
3 O Lord my God, if I have done this, if there is iniquity in my hands,
4 if I have repaid evil to him who was at peace with me (or rather, have delivered him who was my enemy without cause),
5 let the enemy pursue my soul and overtake me; let him trample my life to the ground and lay my honor in the dust. Selah
6 Arise, O Lord, in your anger; lift yourself up against the fury of my enemies, and awake for me the judgment that you have ordained.
7 Let the assembly of the peoples gather around you, and sit enthroned over them again.
8 The Lord will judge the peoples; judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness and according to my integrity.
9 Let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish the righteous, for the righteous God tests the heart and mind.
10 My shield is with God, who saves the upright in heart.
11 God is a righteous judge, and a God who is angry with the wicked every day.
12 If they do not repent, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent his bow and made it ready.
13 He also prepares deadly weapons and makes ready fiery arrows.
14 Behold, the wicked man conceives evil; he is pregnant with mischief and gives birth to lies.
15 He has dug a pit and made it deep; he will fall into the hole he has made.
16 His mischief will return upon his own head, and his violence will fall upon his own crown.
17 I will praise the Lord according to his righteousness, and I will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High.

1 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens.
2 From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.
3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place,
4 what is mankind that you are mindful of them, human beings that you care for them?
5 You have made them a little lower than the angels and crowned them with glory and honor.
6 You made them rulers over the works of your hands; you put everything under their feet:
7 all flocks and herds, and the animals of the field,
8 the birds in the sky, and the fish in the sea, all that swim the paths of the seas.
9 O Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

1 I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell of all your wonderful deeds.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.
3 My enemies turned back; they stumbled and perished before you.
4 For you have upheld my right and my cause; you sit on the throne judging righteously.
5 You rebuke the nations, you destroy the wicked; you blot out their name forever and ever.
6 The enemies have perished; they are laid waste forever; the memory of the cities you overthrew has perished with them.
7 But the Lord will remain forever; he has established his throne for judgment.
8 He will judge the world in righteousness, and the peoples with equity.
9 The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.
10 Those who know your name will trust in you, for you, O Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you.
11 Sing praises to the Lord, who dwells in Zion; Declare his deeds among the nations.
12 For he who avenges blood remembers them; he does not forget the cry of the afflicted.
13 Have mercy on me, O Lord; see my affliction from those who hate me, you who lift me up from the gates of death,
14 that I may declare all your praises in the gates of Daughter Zion, and rejoice in your salvation.
15 The nations have sunk into the pit they dug; their foot has been caught in the net they hid.
16 The Lord has made himself known by the judgment he executed; the wicked are snared by the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah

17 The wicked will be turned into Sheol, all the nations that forget God.
18 For the needy will not always be forgotten, nor will the hope of the poor perish forever.
19 Arise, O Lord! Do not let man prevail; let the nations be judged before you.
20 Put them in fear, O Lord; let the nations know that they are but men. Selah
1 Why do you stand far off, O Lord? Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble?
2 In his pride the wicked man persecutes the poor; he is caught in the schemes he has devised.
3 For the wicked man boasts of his heart’s desires; he blesses the greedy and despises the Lord.
4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek God; God is not in any of his thoughts.
5 His ways are always crooked; your judgments are far from his sight; he despises all his adversaries.
6 He says in his heart, “I will never be shaken; disaster will never overtake me.”
7 His mouth is full of cursing, deceit, and fraud; under his tongue is mischief and wickedness.
8 He sits in ambush near villages; in secret places he murders the innocent. His eyes are on the helpless;
9 he lies in wait like a lion from his den; He lies in wait to snatch the poor; he snatches the poor and drags them into his net.
10 He crouches, he stoops, and many afflicted people fall into his strong grasp.
11 He says in his heart, “God has forgotten; he has hidden his face; he will never see him.”
12 Arise, O Lord God, lift up your hand; do not forget the poor.
13 Why does the wicked man despise God? He says in his heart, “You will not call me to account.”
14 You have seen it, for you regard trouble and distress, to repay with your hand. The helpless commit themselves to you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break the arm of the wicked, and pursue the wickedness of the evildoer until you find none.
16 The Lord is King forever and ever; the nations perish from his land.
17 You, O Lord, hear the desire of the humble; You prepare their hearts, and make your ear attentive,
18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, so that man may no longer do violence on earth.

17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; through painful toil you will eat food from it all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your brow you will eat your food until you return to the ground, since from it you were taken; for dust you are and to dust you will return.”
20 Adam named his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all the living.
21 The Lord God made garments of skin for Adam and his wife and clothed them.
22 And the Lord God said, “The man has now become like one of us, knowing good and evil. He must not be allowed to reach out his hand and take also from the tree of life and eat, and live forever.”
23 So the Lord God banished him from the Garden of Eden to work the ground from which he had been taken.
24 After he drove the man out, he placed at the east of the Garden of Eden Cherubim and a flaming sword flashing back and forth to guard the way to the tree of life.
1 In the Lord I have put my trust; how can you say to my soul, “Flee like a bird to your mountain”?
2 For behold, the wicked bend their bows; they readied their arrows to the string, to shoot from ambush at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations are destroyed, what can the righteous do?
4 The Lord is in his holy temple; the Lord’s throne is in heaven; his eyes behold, his eyelids test the children of men.
5 The Lord tests the righteous, but his soul hates the wicked and the one who loves violence.
6 On the wicked he will rain down fiery coals and burning sulfur; a scorching wind will be their portion.
7 For the Lord is righteous; he loves justice; the upright will see his face.

1 Save us, O Lord, for the godly are no more; the faithful have vanished from among mankind.
2 Everyone lies to their neighbor; they speak with flattering lips and a double heart.
3 The Lord will cut off all flattering lips and the boastful tongue,
4 those who say, “We will prevail with our tongues; our lips are our own; who is lord over us?”
5 “Because the poor are oppressed and the needy groan, now I will arise,” declares the Lord; “I will set them free who long for them.”
6 The words of the Lord are pure words, like silver refined in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
7 You, O Lord, will keep them; you will preserve them from this generation forever.
8 The wicked prowl about when vileness is exalted among mankind.

1 How long, O Lord? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long must I wrestle with my thoughts and have sorrow in my heart all day long? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
3 Look on me and answer me, O Lord my God; give light to my eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death,
4 lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed over him”; lest my foes rejoice when I am shaken.
5 But I have put my trust in your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.
6 I will sing praise to the Lord, for he has dealt bountifully with me.

1 The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds; there is no one who does good.
2 The Lord looks down from heaven on the children of man, to see if there are any who understand, who seek God.
3 All have turned aside, together they have become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.
4 Do all the workers of iniquity have no understanding, who devour my people as they eat bread, and do not call upon the Lord?
5 They tremble with fear, for God is with the generation of the righteous.
6 They mock the counsel of the poor, but the Lord is their refuge.
7 Oh, that salvation for Israel would come out of Zion! When the Lord restores the fortunes of his people, Jacob will rejoice, and Israel will be glad.

1 Lord, who may dwell in your sanctuary? Who may live on your holy mountain?
2 The one whose walk is blameless, who does what is righteous, who speaks the truth from their heart;
3 whose tongue utters no slander, who does no wrong to a neighbor, and casts no slur on others;
4 who despises a vile person but honors those who fear the Lord; who keeps an oath even when it hurts and does not change their mind;
5 who does not lend money at interest or accept a bribe against the innocent. Whoever does these things will never be shaken.

1 Keep me safe, O God, for in you I take refuge.
2 I say to the Lord, “You are my Lord; apart from you I have no good.”
3 As for the saints in the land, the blameless, in whom I delight—
4 the sorrows of those who worship another god will be many. I will not pour out their drink offerings of blood or take their names on my lips.
5 The Lord is my chosen portion and my cup; you hold my lot.
6 The lines have fallen for me in pleasant places; indeed, I have a beautiful inheritance.
7 I will bless the Lord who gives me counsel; in the night also my heart instructs me.
8 I have set the Lord always before me; because he is at my right hand, I shall not be shaken.
9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my whole being rejoices; my body also will rest secure.
10 For you will not abandon my soul to Sheol, nor let your holy one see corruption.
11 You will show me the path of life; in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.

1 Hear, O Lord, a just cause; listen to my cry. Give ear to my prayer from sincere lips.
2 Let my vindication come from you; let your eyes see what is right.
3 You have tested my heart and examined me by night; you have tried me, and found nothing wicked. I have resolved that my mouth will not transgress.
4 By the word of your lips I have kept myself from the paths of the violent, as far as human beings are concerned.
5 Uphold my steps in your paths, so that my feet do not slip.
6 I call upon you, for you will hear me, O God; incline your ear to me and hear my words.
7 Show your wonderful mercies, you who save those who take refuge at your right hand from those who rise up against them.
8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; Hide me in the shadow of your wings,
9 from the wicked who oppress me, from my enemies who seek my life.
10 They are wrapped in their fatness; with their mouths they speak arrogantly.
11 They have surrounded our steps; they have set their eyes to throw us to the ground.
12 They are like a lion eager to pounce, like a young lion lying in wait.
13 Arise, O Lord; confront them, bring them down; deliver my soul from the wicked with your sword,
14 from men with your hand, O Lord, from worldly men, whose portion is in this life, and whose bellies are filled with your treasure. They satisfy their children, and there is still enough for their little ones.
15 As for me, I will see your face in righteousness; I will be satisfied when I awake in your likeness.

1 I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 The Lord is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.
3 I call to the Lord, who is worthy to be praised, and I am saved from my enemies.
4 The cords of death encompassed me, and the torrents of destruction overwhelmed me.
5 The cords of Sheol entangled me; the snares of death confronted me.
6 In my distress I called to the Lord, and cried to my God for help. From his temple he heard my voice, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
7 The earth shook and trembled; the foundations of the mountains quaked and shook, because he was angry.
8 Smoke rose from his nostrils, and consuming fire from his mouth; burning coals blazed forth from him.
9 He bowed the heavens and came down; And thick darkness was under his feet.
10 He rode on a cherub, and flew; he soared on the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness his covering, his curtain around him—the dark waters, the clouds of the sky.
12 At the brightness of his presence his clouds passed by, hailstones and burning coals.
13 The Lord thundered from heaven, and the voice of the Most High uttered hailstones and coals of fire.
14 He shot out his arrows and scattered them; he flashed lightning and routed them.
15 The depths of the waters were exposed, and the foundations of the world were laid bare at your rebuke, O Lord, at the blast of the breath from your nostrils.
16 He reached down from on high and took hold of me; he drew me out of deep waters.
17 He rescued me from my powerful enemy, from those who hated me, for they were too strong for me.
18 They attacked me in the day of my calamity, but the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out into a spacious place; he rescued me because he delighted in me.
20 The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands he has recompensed me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
22 For all his judgments were before me, and I have not turned aside from his statutes.
23 I was blameless before him, and I kept myself from my iniquity.
24 Therefore the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his sight.
25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful, and with the blameless you will show yourself upright.
26 With the pure you will show yourself pure, and with the crooked you will show yourself severe.
27For you will save the afflicted people, and humble the haughty eyes.
28 You will light my lamp; the Lord my God will illuminate my darkness.
29 With you I can rout armies, and with my God I can scale walls.
30 As for God, his way is perfect, and the word of the Lord is flawless; he is a shield to all who take refuge in him.

31 For who is God except the Lord? And who is the Rock except our God?
32 It is God who arms me with strength and makes my way perfect.
33 He makes my feet like the feet of a deer and sets me on the heights.
34 He trains my hands for war; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
35 You have given me the shield of your salvation, and your right hand has sustained me; your gentleness has made me great.
36 You have broadened the path beneath me, so that my feet have not slipped.
37 I pursued my enemies and overtook them; I did not turn back until they were destroyed.
38 I struck them down so that they could not rise; they fell beneath my feet.
39 You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies beneath me.
40 You have made my enemies turn their backs on me, so that I may destroy those who hate me.
41 They cried out, but there was no one to save them; they cried out to the Lord, but he did not answer them.
42 I beat them like dust before the wind; I cast them out like mud in the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the strife of the people; you have made me head of the nations; people I did not know served me.
44 As soon as they heard of me, they obeyed me; foreigners submitted to me.
45 Foreigners lost heart and came trembling from their strongholds.
46 The Lord lives! Blessed be my Rock! Exalted be God my Savior!
47 He is the God who avenges me and subdues nations under me,
48 who delivers me from my enemies and lifts me high above my foes. You rescued me from violent men.
49 Therefore I will praise you, Lord, among the nations; I will sing praise to your name.
50 He gives great victories to his king, and shows mercy to his anointed, to David and his descendants forever.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands.
2 Day after day they pour forth speech; night after night they reveal knowledge.
3 They have no speech, they use no words; no sound is heard from them.
4 Yet their voice goes out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world. In the heavens God has pitched a tent for the sun.
5 It is like a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, like a warrior rejoicing to run his course.
6 It rises at one end of the heavens and makes its circuit to the other; nothing is hidden from its heat.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, refreshing the soul; the statutes of the Lord are trustworthy, making wise the simple.
8 The precepts of the Lord are right, giving joy to the heart; the commands of the Lord are radiant, giving light to the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure, enduring forever; the decrees of the Lord are firm, and righteous altogether.
10 They are more desirable than gold, than much fine gold; they are sweeter than honey, than drippings from the honeycomb.
11 By them your servant is warned; in keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can discern their own errors? Forgive my hidden faults.
13 Keep your servant also from willful sins; may they not rule over me. Then I will be blameless, innocent of great transgression.
14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.

1 May the Lord answer you in the day of trouble; may the name of the God of Jacob defend you.
2 May he send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion.
3 May he remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt offering. Selah
4 May he grant you according to your heart’s desire, and fulfill all your plans.
5 We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners. May the Lord grant all your petitions.
6 Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed; he will answer him from his holy heaven with the saving power of his right hand.
7 Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.
8 They are brought to their knees and fall, but we rise and stand firm.
9 Save us, O Lord; may the King answer us when we call.

1 The king rejoices in your strength, O Lord; how greatly he exults in your salvation!
2 You have granted him the desire of his heart, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah
3 For you have met him with abundant blessings; you have placed a crown of fine gold on his head.
4 He asked you for life, and you gave it to him—length of days forever and ever.
5 Great is his glory in your salvation; you have bestowed on him honor and majesty.
6 For you have blessed him forever; you have filled him with joy in your presence.
7 Because the king trusts in the Lord, and in the mercy of the Most High he shall not be shaken.
8 Your hand shall reach all your enemies; your right hand shall reach those who hate you.
9 You shall make them like a fiery furnace in the time of your anger; the Lord shall consume them in his wrath, and fire shall devour them.
10 You shall destroy their offspring from the earth, and their descendants from among the children of men.
11 For they intended evil against you; they devised schemes, but they will not prevail.
12 For you will put them to flight; you will aim your arrows at their faces.
13 Be exalted, O Lord, in your power; we will sing and praise your might.

1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from saving me, so far from my cries of anguish?
2 My God, I cry out by day, but you do not answer; by night, but I find no rest.
3 Yet you are enthroned as the Holy One; you are the praise of Israel.
4 Our ancestors put their trust in you; they trusted, and you delivered them.
5 To you they cried out and were saved; in you they trusted and were not put to shame.
6 But I am a worm and not a man, scorned by everyone, despised by the people.
7 All who see me mock me; they hurl insults, shaking their heads.
8 “He trusted in the Lord,” they say. “Let the Lord rescue him; let him deliver him, since he delights in him.”
9 Yet you are he who brought me forth from the womb; you made me trust in you from my mother’s breasts.
10 From birth I was cast on you; from my mother’s womb you have been my God.
11 Do not be far from me, for trouble is near, for there is no one to help.
12 Many bulls surround me; strong bulls of Bashan encircle me.
13 They open their mouths against me like a ravenous, roaring lion.
14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint. My heart is like wax; it melts within me.
15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue sticks to the roof of my mouth; you lay me in the dust of death.
16 For dogs surround me; a band of evil men encircles me; they pierce my hands and my feet.
17 I can count all my bones; they stare and gloat over me.
18 They divide my garments among them and cast lots for my clothing.
19 But you, O Lord, do not be far from me; O my strength, come quickly to my aid.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword, my life from the power of the dog.
21 Save me from the mouth of the lion, and deliver me from the horns of the wild oxen.
22 I will declare your name to my brothers; in the midst of the congregation I will praise you.
23 You who fear the Lord, praise him; all you descendants of Jacob, glorify him; and all you descendants of Israel, stand in awe of him.

24 For he has not despised or abhorred the affliction of the afflicted, nor has he hidden his face from him; but when he cried to him, he heard him.
25 From you will come my praise in the great congregation; before those who fear him I will fulfill my vows.
26 The humble will eat and be satisfied; those who seek the Lord will praise him—may your hearts live forever!
27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the Lord, and all the families of the nations will worship before him.
28 For dominion belongs to the Lord, and he rules over the nations.
29 All the rich of the earth will feast and worship; all who go down to the dust will bow down before him—even those who cannot keep themselves alive.
30 Posterity will serve him; to the next generation will be told about the Lord.
31 They will come and proclaim his righteousness; To a people yet unborn, they will announce that he did this.
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside still waters.
3 He restores my soul; He leads me in paths of righteousness for His name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life, and I shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

1 The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;
2 for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.
3 Who may ascend the mountain of the Lord? Who may stand in his holy place?
4 The one who has clean hands and a pure heart, who does not lift up their soul to falsehood, or swear deceitfully.
5 They will receive blessing from the Lord and vindication from God their Savior.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, who seek your face, God of Jacob. Selah
7 Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
8 Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, you gates; be lifted up, you ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in.
10 Who is this King of glory? The Lord of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah

1 To you, O Lord, I lift up my soul.
2 My God, in you I trust; let me not be put to shame, let not my enemies triumph over me.
3 Surely none who wait for you shall be put to shame; those who are faithless without cause shall be disgraced.
4 Show me your ways, O Lord; teach me your paths.
5 Guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior; on you I wait all day long.
6 Remember, O Lord, your great compassion and your unfailing love, for they are from of old.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth or my transgressions; according to your unfailing love remember me, for your goodness’ sake, O Lord.
8 Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways.
9 He guides the humble in what is right and teaches them his way.
10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, for those who keep his covenant and his testimonies.
11 For your name’s sake, O Lord, forgive my sin, though it is great.
12 Who is the man who fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way he should choose.
13 He will enjoy prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.
14 The Lord confides in those who fear him, and he makes his covenant known to them.
15 My eyes are ever on the Lord, for he will free my feet from the snare.
16 Turn to me and have mercy on me, for I am lonely and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart are multiplied; free me from my anguish.

18 Look on my affliction and my toil, and forgive all my sins.
19 See how many my enemies are, and how fiercely they hate me.
20 Guard my soul and deliver me; do not let me be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.
21 May integrity and uprightness protect me, for I wait for you.
22 Redeem Israel, O God, from all its troubles.
