Everything was asked for as an unknown sensation; everything that the creature feels, instant by instant, was not known, that is why it is called the Test of Life. If this system of life had not been based on force, we would have to pay for all the sins in full. The mere fact of using force to impose a system of life, three-quarters of it is paid by the creators of the system, for the mere fact of using force. The test of life consisted in not using force.
