1 Blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the way of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scorners;
2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord, and in his law he meditates day and night.
3 It will be like a tree planted by streams of water, That yields its fruit in its season, And its leaf does not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper.
4 Not so with the wicked, who are like the chaff that the wind carries away.
5 Therefore the wicked will not arise in the judgment, nor the sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
6 For the Lord knows the way of the righteous; But the path of the wicked will perish.
1 Why do the nations riot, And the people think vain things?
2 The kings of the earth will arise, And princes will take counsel together Against the Lord and against His anointed, saying,
3 Let us break his bands, And let us throw away his cords.
4 He who dwells in heaven will laugh; The Lord will mock them.
5 Then he will speak to them in his anger, and he will trouble them in his anger.
6 But I have set my king upon Zion, my holy mountain.
7 I will publish the decree; The Lord has said to me: You are my son; I begot you today.
8 Ask of me, and I will give you the nations as your inheritance, and the ends of the earth as your possession.
9 You will break them with a rod of iron; You will break them like a potter’s vessel.
10 Now therefore, O kings, be prudent; Accept admonition, judges of the earth.
11 Serve the Lord with fear, And rejoice with trembling.
12 Honor the Son, lest he be angry, and you perish on the way; For his anger suddenly flares up. Blessed are all who trust in him.
1 O Lord, how my adversaries have multiplied! There are many who rise up against me.
2 There are many who say about me: There is no salvation for him in God. Selah
3 But you, Jehovah, are a shield around me; My glory, and the one who lifts up my head.
4 With my voice I cried to the Lord, and he answered me from his holy mountain. Selah
5 I lay down and slept, and woke up, because the Lord sustained me.
6 I will not fear ten thousands of people, Who will lay siege against me.
7 Arise, Jehovah; save me, my God; Because you wounded all my enemies on the cheek; The teeth of the wicked hast broken.
8 Salvation is from the Lord; Upon your people be your blessing. Selah
1 Answer me when I cry, O God of my righteousness. When I was in trouble, you enlarged me; Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.
2 Sons of men, how long will you turn my honor into infamy? Will you love vanity and seek lies? Selah
3 Know therefore that the Lord has chosen the godly for himself; Jehovah will hear when I call to him.
4 Tremble, and sin not; Meditate on your heart while in your bed, and be silent. Selah
5 Offer sacrifices of righteousness, And trust in the Lord.
6 There are many who say: Who will show us good? Lift up upon us, O Lord, the light of your countenance.
7 You gave joy to my heart Greater than theirs when their grain and wine abounded.
8 I will lie down in peace, and I will also sleep; Because only you, Jehovah, make me live confidently.
1 Hear, O Lord, my words; Consider my moan.
2 Listen to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for I will pray to you.
3 O Lord, in the morning you will hear my voice; In the morning I’ll present myself in front of you and I’ll wait.
4 For you are not a God who delights in evil; The evil one will not dwell with you.
5 Fools will not be before your eyes; You hate all evildoers.
6 You will destroy those who speak lies; The Lord will abhor a bloodthirsty and deceitful man.
7 But I, out of the abundance of your mercy, will enter your house; I will worship towards your holy temple in your fear.
8 Guide me, Jehovah, in your justice, because of my enemies; Make your path straight before me.
9 For there is no sincerity in their mouths; Their bowels are evil, Their throat is an open grave, They speak flattery with their tongue.
10 Punish them, O God; Fall for your own advice; For the multitude of their transgressions cast them out, For they have rebelled against you.
11 But let all those who trust in you rejoice; Let them shout for joy forever, because you defend them; Let those who love your name rejoice in you.
12 For you, O Lord, will bless the righteous; As with a shield them with your favor.
1 Jehovah, do not rebuke me in your anger, nor punish me in your anger.
2 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am sick; Heal me, O Lord, for my bones tremble.
3 My soul is also very troubled; And you, Jehovah, until when?
4 Return, O Lord, deliver my soul; Save me by your mercy.
5 For in death there is no memory of you; In Sheol, who will praise you?
6 I have consumed myself by moaning; Every night I flood my bed with tears, I water my bed with my tears.
7 My eyes are worn out from suffering; They have grown old because of all my distresses.
8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; For the Lord has heard the voice of my cry.
9 The Lord has heard my prayer; Jehovah has received my prayer.
10 All my enemies will be ashamed and greatly troubled; They will turn back and be shamed suddenly.
1 Jehovah my God, I have trusted in you; Save me from all those who persecute me, and deliver me,
2 Lest they rend my soul like a lion, And tear me apart, and there is no one to rescue me.
3 Jehovah my God, if I have done this, If iniquity is in my hands;
4 If I have given evil recompense to him who was at peace with me (But I have delivered him who was my enemy without a cause),
5 Let the enemy pursue my soul, and overtake it; Leave my footprint on the ground, and put my honor in the dust. Selah
6 Arise, O Jehovah, in your anger; Rise up against the fury of my distressers, And awaken in my favor the judgment that you commanded.
7 A congregation of people will surround you, And sit on high again upon it.
8 The Lord will judge the peoples; Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, and according to my integrity.
9 Now let the wickedness of the wicked be put to an end, but establish the righteous; Because the righteous God tests the mind and the heart.
10 My shield is in God, Who saves the upright in heart.
11 God is a righteous judge, And God is angry with the wicked every day.
12 If he does not repent, he will sharpen his sword; Armed now has his bow, and he has prepared it.
13 He also has prepared weapons of death, And he has fashioned fiery arrows.
14 Behold, the wicked conceived iniquity, he became pregnant with iniquity, and gave birth to deceit.
15 He has dug a well and deepened it; And into the hole he made he will fall.
16 His iniquity will return on his head, and his wrong will fall on his own crown.
17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness, and I will sing to the name of the LORD the Most High.
1 O Jehovah, our Lord, How glorious is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens;
2 From the mouths of children and sucklings, you founded a stronghold, Because of your enemies, To silence the enemy and the vengeful.
3 When I see your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars that you formed,
4 I say: What is man, that you remember him, and the son of man, that you visit him?
5 You have made him little lower than the angels, And crowned him with glory and honor.
6 You made him rule over the works of your hands; You put everything under his feet:
7 Sheep and oxen, all of them, And also the beasts of the field,
8 The birds of the air and the fish of the sea; Whatever passes through the paths of the sea.
9 O Lord our Lord, how great is your name in all the earth!
1 I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart; I will tell all your wonders.
2 I will be glad and rejoice in you; I will sing to your name, oh Most High.
3 My enemies turned back; They fell and perished before you.
4 Because you have maintained my right and my cause; You have sat on the throne judging righteously.
5 You rebuked the nations, you destroyed the evil one, You blotted out their name forever and ever.
6 The enemies have perished; They have been left desolate forever; And the cities that you destroyed, His memory perished with them.
7 But the Lord will remain forever; He has prepared his throne for judgment.
8 He will judge the world with justice, and the people with righteousness.
9 The Lord will be a refuge for the poor, a refuge in time of trouble.
10 Those who know your name will trust in you, because you, O Jehovah, did not forsake those who sought you.
11 Sing to the Lord, who dwells in Zion; Publish his works among the people.
12 For he who demands blood remembered them; He did not forget the cry of the afflicted.
13 Have mercy on me, Jehovah; See my affliction that I suffer because of those who hate me, You who raise me up from the gates of death,
14 So that I may declare all your praises At the gates of the daughter of Zion, and rejoice in your salvation.
15 The nations sank into the pit they made; In the net that they hid, his foot was taken.
16 Jehovah has made himself known in the judgment that he executed; The evil one was ensnared in the work of his hands. Higaion. Selah
17 The wicked will be transferred to Sheol, All the nations who forget God.
18 For the needy will not be forgotten forever, Nor will the hope of the poor perish forever.
19 Arise, O Lord; let man not be strengthened; Let the nations be judged before you.
20 Put fear in them, O Jehovah; Let the nations know that they are but men. Selah
1 Why are you far away, O Jehovah, And hide yourself in the time of tribulation?
2 With arrogance the wicked persecutes the poor; He will be caught in the devices he has devised.
3 For the evil man boasts of the desire of his soul, He blesses the greedy, and despises the Lord.
4 The evil man, because of the haughtiness of his face, does not seek God; There is no God in any of his thoughts.
5 His ways are crooked at all times; Your judgments are very far from his sight; He despises all his adversaries.
6 He says in his heart: I will never be moved; Misfortune will never overtake me.
7 His mouth is full of his curse, and of deceit and fraud; Under his tongue there is vexation and malice.
8 He sits in wait near the villages; In hiding places he kills the innocent. His eyes are stalking the helpless;
9 He lurks in secret, like a lion out of his den; He lies in wait to snatch the poor; He snatches the poor man into his net.
10 He shrinks, he crouches, And many unfortunate people fall into his strong grip.
11 He says in his heart: God has forgotten; He has hidden his face from him; he will never see it.
12 Arise, O Lord God, lift up your hand; Do not forget the poor.
13 Why does the wicked despise God? In his heart he has said: You will not inquire.
14 You have seen it; because you look at work and vexation, to give the reward with your hand; The helpless takes refuge in you; You are the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break the arm of the wicked, and he pursues the wickedness of the wicked until you find none.
16 Jehovah is King forever and ever; The nations have perished from his land.
17 You have heard the desire of the humble, O Lord; You prepare his heart, and make your ear attentive,
18 To judge the orphan and the oppressed, so that the man of the earth does violence no more.
17 And to the man he said, Because you obeyed the voice of your wife, and ate of the tree of which I commanded you, saying, Thou shalt not eat of it; cursed will be the land because of you; In pain you will eat of it all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you, and you will eat plants of the field.
19 In the sweat of your face you will eat bread until you return to the land, because from it you were taken; for dust you are, and to dust you will return.
20 And Adam called the name of his wife Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
21 And the LORD God made the man and his woman coats of skin, and clothed them.
22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is like one of us, knowing good and evil; Now therefore let him not stretch out his hand, and take also from the tree of life, and eat, and live forever.
23 And the Lord brought him out of the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken.
24 So he cast out the man, and placed cherubim on the east side of the garden of Eden, and a flaming sword moving on every side, to guard the way to the tree of life.
1 I have trusted in the Lord; How do you say to my soul, Let it escape to the mountain like a bird?
2 For behold, the wicked draw the bow, They arrange their arrows on the string, To shoot in secret at the upright in heart.
3 If the foundations are destroyed, what should the righteous do?
4 The Lord is in his holy temple; Jehovah has his throne in heaven; His eyes see, his eyelids examine the sons of men.
5 The Lord tests the righteous; But the evil one and the one who loves violence, his soul hates.
6 On the wicked he will rain calamities; Fire, brimstone and scorching wind will be the portion of their cup.
7 For the Lord is righteous, and he loves righteousness; The righteous man will look at his face.
1 Save, O Lord, for the godly are gone; For the faithful have disappeared from among the children of men.
2 Each man speaks lies to his neighbor; They speak with flattering lips, and with a double heart.
3 The Lord will destroy all flattering lips, And the tongue that he speaks boastfully;
4 To those who have said: By our tongue we will prevail; Our lips are ours; who is lord over us?
5 For the oppression of the poor, for the groaning of the needy, Now I will arise, says the Lord; I will save him who longs for it.
6 The words of the Lord are pure words, Like silver refined in an earthen furnace, Purified seven times.
7 You, Jehovah, will keep them; In this generation you preserve them forever.
8 The wicked walk around, When vileness is exalted among the sons of men.
1 How long, Jehovah? Will you forget me forever? How long will you hide your face from me?
2 How long will I put advice in my soul, With sadness in my heart every day? How long will my enemy be exalted above me?
3 Look, answer me, O Lord my God; He enlightens my eyes, so that I do not sleep in death;
4 Lest my enemy say: I defeated him. My enemies would be glad if I slipped.
5 But I have trusted in your mercy; My heart will rejoice in your salvation.
6 I will sing to the Lord, For he has done good to me.
1 The fool says in his heart: There is no God. They have become corrupt, they do abominable works; There is no one who does good.
2 The Lord looked down from heaven on the children of men, To see if there was any who understood, That he might seek God.
3 They have all gone astray, together they have become corrupt; There is no one who does good, there is not even one.
4 Do all those who do iniquity have no discernment, who devour my people as if they ate bread, and do not call upon the Lord?
5 They trembled with fear; Because God is with the generation of the righteous.
6 They have mocked the advice of the poor, But the Lord is his hope.
7 Oh that the salvation of Israel would come from Zion! When the Lord brings back the captives of his people, Jacob will rejoice, and Israel will be glad.
1 Jehovah, who will dwell in your tabernacle? Who will dwell on your holy mountain?
2 He who walks uprightly and does justice, And he speaks truth in his heart.
3 He who does not slander with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor admits any reproach against his neighbor.
4 He in whose sight the vile is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord. He who even swears against himself, does not change;
5 Who did not give his money to usury, Nor did he admit bribery against the innocent. He who does these things will never slip.
1 Keep me, O God, for I have trusted in you.
2 O my soul, you said to the Lord: You are my Lord; There is no good for me outside of you.
3 For the saints who are on earth, and for the blameless, is all my pleasure.
4 The pains of those who diligently serve another god will be multiplied. I will not offer his blood libations, Nor will I take his names on my lips.
5 The Lord is the portion of my inheritance and my cup; You sustain my luck.
6 The cords fell to me in pleasant places, And the inheritance that has fallen to me is beautiful.
7 I will bless the Lord who advises me; Even at night he teaches me my conscience.
8 I have always set the Lord before me; Because he is at my right hand, I will not be moved.
9 Therefore my heart was glad, and my soul rejoiced; My flesh will also rest safely;
10 For you will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will you allow your holy one to see corruption.
11 You will show me the path of life; In your presence there is fullness of joy; Delights at your right hand forever.
1 Hear, O Jehovah, a just cause; He is attentive to my cry. He hears my prayer made from lips without guile.
2 From your presence comes my vindication; Let your eyes see righteousness.
3 You have tested my heart, you have visited me at night; You have tested me, and found nothing wicked; I have resolved that my mouth shall not transgress.
4 As for human works, by the word of your lips I have kept myself from the paths of the violent.
5 Support my steps in your ways, So that my feet do not slip.
6 I have called upon you, because you will hear me, O God; Lean your ear towards me, listen to my word.
7 Show your wonderful mercies, you who save those who take refuge at your right hand, from those who rise up against them.
8 Keep me as the apple of your eye; She hides me under the shadow of your wings,
9 From the sight of the evil ones who oppress me, From my enemies who seek my life.
10 They are wrapped in their fat; They speak arrogantly with their mouth.
11 They have now surrounded our steps; They have put their eyes to cast us to the ground.
12 They are like a lion that desires to prey, And like a young lion that is in its hiding place.
13 Arise, O Lord; Go out to meet them, posters; Deliver my soul from the wicked with your sword,
14 From men with your hand, O Lord, from worldly men, whose portion they have in this life, and whose belly is full of your treasure. They satisfy their children, And there is still plenty for their little ones.
15 As for me, I will see your face in righteousness; I will be satisfied when I awake, with thy likeness.
1 I love you, O Lord, my strength.
2 Jehovah, my rock and my castle, and my deliverer; My God, my strength, I will trust in him; My shield, and the strength of my salvation, my high refuge.
3 I will call on the Lord, who is worthy of praise, And I will be saved from my enemies.
4 The bands of death surrounded me, And torrents of wickedness made me afraid.
5 The bands of Sheol surrounded me, They laid the snares of death for me.
6 In my distress I called upon the Lord, And cried unto my God. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry came before him to his ears.
7 The earth was shaken and trembled; The foundations of the mountains were shaken, And they trembled, because he was indignant.
8 Smoke went up from his nostrils, and devouring fire came from his mouth; Coals were lit by him.
9 He bowed the heavens, and came down; And there was thick darkness under his feet.
10 He rode on a cherub, and flew; He flew on the wings of the wind.
11 He made darkness his hiding place, his curtain around him; Darkness of waters, clouds of the skies.
12 By the brightness of his presence, his clouds passed away; Hail and burning coals.
13 The Lord thundered in the heavens, and the Most High gave his voice; Hail and coals of fire.
14 He sent his arrows, and scattered them; He threw lightning, and destroyed them.
15 Then the depths of the waters appeared, And the foundations of the world were revealed, At your rebuke, O Lord, By the blast of the breath of Your nostrils.
16 He sent from above; he took me, he brought me out of many waters.
17 He delivered me from my powerful enemy, And from those who hated me; because they were stronger than me.
18 They assaulted me in the day of my disaster, But the Lord was my support.
19 He brought me out to a spacious place; He delivered me, because he was pleased with me.
20 The Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanliness of my hands he has rewarded me.
21 For I have kept the ways of the Lord, and have not turned away wickedly from my God.
22 For all his judgments were before me, and I have not departed from his statutes.
23 I was upright toward him, and I have kept myself from my iniquity,
24 Therefore the Lord has rewarded me according to my righteousness; According to the cleanliness of my hands in his sight.
25 To the merciful you will show yourself merciful, and upright towards the upright man.
26 You will show yourself clean toward the clean, And you will be severe toward the wicked.
27For you will save the afflicted people, And you will humble the haughty eyes.
28 You will light my lamp; Jehovah my God will illuminate my darkness.
29 With you I will destroy armies, and with my God I will assault walls.
30 As for God, his way is perfect, and the word of the Lord is proven; He is a shield to all those who wait for him.
31 For who is God but Jehovah alone? And what rock is there apart from our God?
32 God is the one who girds me with power, And who makes my way perfect;
33 Who makes my feet like deer’s feet, And makes me stand firm on my heights;
34 Who trains my hands for battle, To bend the bronze bow with my arms.
35 You also gave me the shield of your salvation; Your right hand upholds me, and your kindness has made me great.
36 You have enlarged my steps under me, and my feet have not slipped.
37 I pursued my enemies, and overtook them, and did not return until I had finished them.
38 I struck them so that they could not rise; They fell under my feet.
39 For you girded me with strength for the fight; You have humiliated my enemies under me.
40 You have turned my enemies away from me, so that I may destroy those who hate me.
41 They cried, and there was no one to save; Even to Jehovah, but he did not hear them.
42 And I ground them as dust before the wind; I cast them out like mud from the streets.
43 You have delivered me from the strife of the people; You have made me head of the nations; A town that I didn’t know helped me.
44 When they heard about me they obeyed me; The children of strangers submitted to me.
45 The strangers became weak and came out trembling from their confinements.
46 Long live the Lord, and blessed be my rock, and exalted be the God of my salvation;
47 May God avenge my grievances, And subdue peoples under me;
48 He who delivers me from my enemies, And even he lifts me up above those who rise up against me; You freed me from a violent man.
49 Therefore I will confess you among the nations, O Lord, and I will sing to your name.
50 He gives great triumphs to his king, And shows mercy to his anointed, To David and to his descendants, forever.
1 The heavens declare the glory of God, and the firmament declares the work of his hands.
2 One day he utters word to another day, And one night to another night he declares wisdom.
3 There is no language, nor words, Nor is his voice heard.
4 His voice went out into all the earth, and his words to the end of the world. In them he put a tabernacle for the sun;
5 And this one, like a bridegroom coming out of his bed, rejoices like a giant to run the way.
6 From one end of the heavens is the exit from it, And the course of it to the end of them; And there is nothing that hides from his warmth.
7 The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; The testimony of Jehovah is faithful, making wise the simple.
8 The commandments of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart; The precept of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9 The fear of the Lord is pure, lasting forever; The judgments of Jehovah are true, all just.
10 They are more desirable than gold, and more than much refined gold; And sweeter than honey, or that which drips from the honeycomb.
11 Your servant is also warned against them; In keeping them there is great reward.
12 Who can understand his own errors? Deliver me from those that are hidden from me.
13 Also preserve your servant from pride; Let them not lord it over me; Then I shall be blameless, and innocent of great transgression.
14 May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing before you, O Lord, my rock, and my redeemer.
1 The Lord hears you in the day of conflict; May the name of the God of Jacob defend you.
2 May He send you help from the sanctuary, And sustain you from Zion.
3 Remember all your offerings, And accept your burnt offering. Selah
4 Give you according to your heart’s desire, And fulfill all your counsel.
5 We will rejoice in your salvation, And we will lift up a banner in the name of our God; May the Lord grant all your requests.
6 Now I know that the Lord saves his anointed one; He will hear it from his holy heavens With the saving power of his right hand.
7 These trust in chariots, and those in horses; But we will remember the name of the Lord our God.
8 They falter and fall, But we rise and stand.
9 Save, Jehovah; May the King hear us on the day we call on him.
1 The king rejoices in your power, O Lord; And in your salvation, how he rejoices!
2 You have granted him the desire of his heart, And you have not denied him the request of his lips. Selah
3 Because you have met him with blessings of good; You have placed a crown of fine gold on his head.
4 Life he demanded of you, and you gave it to him; Length of days eternally and forever.
5 Great is his glory in your salvation; Honor and majesty have placed upon him.
6 For you have blessed him forever; You filled him with joy with your presence.
7 Because the king trusts in the Lord, And in the mercy of the Most High, he will not be moved.
8 He will reach your hand over all your enemies; Your right hand will reach out to those who hate you.
9 You will make them like a fiery furnace in the time of your anger; The Lord will destroy them in his wrath, and fire will consume them.
10 You shall destroy his fruit from the earth, and his descendants from among the sons of men.
11 Because they intended evil against you; They have plotted, but they will not prevail,
12 For you will put them to flight; On your ropes you will arrange arrows against their faces.
13 Magnify yourself, O Lord, in your power; We will sing and praise your power.
1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? Why are you so far from my salvation, and from the words of my cry?
2 My God, I cry by day, and you do not answer; And at night, and there is no rest for me.
3 But you are holy, You who dwell among the praises of Israel.
4 Our fathers hoped in you; They waited, and you delivered them.
5 They cried to you, and were delivered; They trusted you and were not ashamed.
6 But I am a worm, and not a man; Reproach of men, and despised by the people.
7 All who see me mock me; They stretch their mouths and shake their heads, saying:
8 He commended himself to the Lord; let him free him; Save him, since he took pleasure in him.
9 But you are the one who took me out of the womb; The one who made me trust since he was at my mother’s breasts.
10 I was cast upon you before I was born; From my mother’s womb, you are my God.
11 Do not depart from me, for trouble is near; Because there is no one to help.
12 Many bulls have surrounded me; Strong bulls of Bashan have surrounded me.
13 They opened his mouth on me like a ravening and roaring lion.
14 I have been poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint; My heart was like wax, Melting in the middle of my bowels.
15 My strength dried up like a potsherd, and my tongue stuck to my palate, and you have put me in the dust of death.
16 For dogs have surrounded me; A gang of evil men has surrounded me; They pierced my hands and my feet.
17 I can count all my bones; Meanwhile, they look at me and watch me.
18 They divided my clothes among themselves, And they cast lots for my clothes.
19 But you, Jehovah, do not turn away; My strength, hasten to help me.
20 Deliver my soul from the sword, My life from the power of the dog.
21 Save me from the mouth of the lion, And deliver me from the horns of the buffalo.
22 I will announce your name to my brothers; In the midst of the congregation I will praise you.
23 You who fear the Lord, praise him; Glorify him, all the descendants of Jacob, and fear him, all the descendants of Israel.
24 For he did not despise or abhor the affliction of the afflicted, Nor did he hide his face from him; But when she cried to him, she heard him.
25 My praise will be yours in the great congregation; I will pay my vows before those who fear him.
26 The humble will eat and be satisfied; Those who seek him will praise the Lord; He will live in your heart forever.
27 All the ends of the earth will remember and turn to the LORD, and all the families of the nations will worship before you.
28 For the kingdom is the Lord’s, And he will rule the nations.
29 All the powerful of the earth will eat and worship; All who go down to the dust will bow down before him, Even he who cannot preserve his own soul.
30 Posterity will serve him; This will be told of Jehovah to the last generation.
31 They will come and declare his righteousness; To a people not yet born, they will announce that he did this
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I will lack nothing.
2 In green pastures he will make me rest; He will shepherd me beside still waters.
3 He will comfort my soul; He will guide me in paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, because you will be with me; Your rod and your staff will comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my distressers; You anoint my head with oil; my cup is overflowing.
6 Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, And I will dwell in the house of the Lord for long days.
1 The earth and its fullness belong to the Lord; The world and those who dwell therein.
2 For he founded it on the seas, and he established it on the rivers.
3 Who will ascend to the mountain of the Lord? And who will be in his holy place?
4 He who has clean hands and pure heart; He who has not elevated his soul to vain things, Nor sworn deceitfully.
5 He will receive blessing from the Lord, and righteousness from the God of salvation.
6 Such is the generation of those who seek him, Of those who seek your face, O God of Jacob. Selah
7 Lift up your heads, O doors, And lift up yourselves, eternal doors, And the King of glory will enter.
8 Who is this King of glory? Jehovah the strong and mighty, Jehovah the mighty in battle.
9 Lift up your heads, O doors, And lift up yourselves, eternal doors, And the King of glory will enter.
10 Who is this King of glory? Jehovah of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah
1 To you, O Lord, I will lift up my soul.
2 My God, I trust in you; Let me not be ashamed, Let not my enemies rejoice over me.
3 Surely none of those who hope in you will be confounded; Those who rebel without a cause will be put to shame.
4 Show me your ways, O Lord; Teach me your paths.
5 Guide me in your truth, and teach me, For you are the God of my salvation; I have waited for you all day.
6 Remember, O Lord, your mercy and your mercies, which are everlasting.
7 Do not remember the sins of my youth and my transgressions; According to your mercy remember me, In your goodness, O Jehovah.
8 Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore he will teach sinners the way.
9 He will guide the humble through judgment, And he will teach the meek his course.
10 All the paths of the Lord are mercy and truth, For those who keep his covenant and the testimonies of it.
11 For your name’s sake, O Lord, you will also forgive my sin, which is great.
12 Who is the man that fears the Lord? He will teach him the path he must choose.
13 He will enjoy prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land.
14 The intimate fellowship of the Lord is with those who fear him, and to them he will make known his covenant.
15 My eyes are always toward the Lord, For he will bring my feet out of the net.
16 Look upon me, and have mercy on me, For I am alone and afflicted.
17 The troubles of my heart have increased; Take me out of my troubles.
18 Look at my affliction and my work, And forgive all my sins.
19 Look at my enemies, how they have multiplied, And with violent hatred they hate me.
20 Guard my soul, and deliver me; Let me not be ashamed, because I trusted in you.
21 Integrity and righteousness preserve me, For I have hoped in you.
22 Redeem, O God, Israel from all their troubles.
